One of the key issues with ID cards, and online Id verification, that isnt talked about much, is the legitimisation of the criminal community with fake IDs and the resultant vulnerability of trust/access that will follow with the assumption that ID presented is honest and valid. If the system is weakened already from within, adding to it wont make it stronger but embed the criminal personas further.

Its been a long term thought of mine that cooking mimics decay chemically (cant remember where i heard that for now) and that during previous ice ages Mankind must have stumbled upon the plethora of dead slowly rotting bodies of large scale herbivores and consumed them in an act to survive. It is, therefore, likely the diet arrived at hastened and boosted our brain evolution. The intricacies of how we arrived at cooking to replicate this decay is one of the mysteries we will have to endure though, as i dont believe any certainty will ever be evidenced in that regards. i say this all as a vegetarian of about 20 years, along with my whole family of 7. That meat consumption is beyond sustainability with the human population as is, I see no reason, in the 21st century, why a 90%+ diet of non carrion isnt beyond this remarkable apes reach.

I am sick of hearing folks spouting that this dictator killed thousands of his OWN people (largely because we know killing OTHER people is ok innit) time and time again, ramping up the 'disgust' quotient for others to acknowledge. Every dictator thus charged sits on a modern invention called a nation which presides over, typically, two to three tribal lands. The colonial powers usually elevated a tribal minority over a troublesome and empowered tribal majority and thus ensured the usual military dominance was needed to maintain this situation. These tribal divisions were once more rivalry than hatred but a couple hundred years of western influence has exaggerated this to seething hatred.

Free Schools are a backdoor way to allow schools of privelege and selection to gain buildings only they have access too and be independant of council control. The sop to the poor will be being allowed to use now derelict community halls and such - buildings empty thanks to cuts in services - and no doubt, as before, temporary buildings. These will be held up as shining examples of pluck while the new generation of Etons infest London and other areas of coagulated Enabled Class power with a new echelon of socially exclusive education. This brain drain on the state system will have a huge negative impact on the state school system.

This is to engage the protection of the now larger number of Enabled Class and institutionalise a wider spread of privelege to enable those at the top to remain there without more diffusion of prestige. Resembling in intent thatchers trickle up theories, this will result in a division of society into the Enabled and the Nots. A reality of this is that the top echelon needs to expand to consolidate and embed new wealth and bring into the fold, therefore enabling an interdependence, a slightly lower but desperately aspiring section of society, at present still regarding themselves working class. Dissassociation of the working class roots would then be needed, concreting the divide further.
